These are some warm up and practices that I do to either refresh my ballpoint pen shading skills or to try experimenting new drawing and shading techniques.

Second line: Light pressure to appear light grey by using two layers of hatches.

Third line: Three layers of hatches using slightly more pressure for a grey tone.
